  • About the Position

    We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who enjoy staying busy, working with others, and taking pride in doing good work. This is a hands-on position where everyone contributes to keeping the store clean, stocked, and running efficiently.

    General Store Operations

    • Provide friendly, professional customer service.

    • Operate the cash register and accurately process cash and credit card transactions.

    • Answer customer questions about rentals, Yellowstone National Park, local trails, road conditions, and area attractions.

    • Stock merchandise including groceries, beverages, snacks, apparel, automotive supplies, and convenience items.

    • Prepare food for the hot case and maintain the coffee station.

    • Receive deliveries and restock inventory.

    • Keep the store clean and bathrooms areas clean

    • Empty trash, bag ice, clean fuel pumps, and assist with general outdoor maintenance.

    • Help wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

  • Hi-Mark Rentals Associate / General Store Associate

    About the Position

    This is a cross-functional role. This role will help prepare rental machines in the morning, sending out guest on their adventure, performing routine preventative maintenance, while also assisting customers and providing assistance on the store front side of the Exxon.

    Rental Operations

    • Prepare Polaris Side-by-Sides (summer) and Polaris snowmobiles (winter) for daily rentals.

    • Check rental vehicles out to customers each morning and check them back in at the end of the day.

    • Walk customers through machine operation, safety features, rental procedures, and local riding information.

    • Inspect machines before and after every rental to ensure they're clean, safe, and ready for the next guest.

    • Wash and detail rental vehicles inside and out.

    • Clean and sanitize helmets and rental equipment.

    • Perform preventative maintenance, including:

      • Fluid level inspections

      • Minor adjustments and routine upkeep

      • Tracking mileage, hours, and use of machines.

    • Identify mechanical issues and communicate maintenance needs to management.

    • Keep the rental shop, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

General Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, friendly with customers & staff.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Available to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons.

  • Retail, hospitality, or food service experience is helpful but not required.

  • Friendly and professional with customers and coworkers.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Rental Associate Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred for working with but not required.

  • Experience with powersports, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, or automotive maintenance is a plus.

  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in changing mountain weather.

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Valid driver's license preferred.
